Reflective Post on Fahrenheit 451 Ch 3

I thought chapter 3 and the end of the story are both very strange. It’s true that l did not like this book (too difficult was one of the reasons). Maybe it was because this was not the kind of book I like, but I must say that this book was a bit better than what I thought before and I was surprised that I could finish this book in such speed. (It is already very fast for me) I thought this book really reflects our real life. Technology kept improving and soon people would no longer need books anymore, because we already have computer books, so why do we need to buy it instead of downloading it for free? People now rely on computer so much that they cannot live without computer for a few days, but they can live without book for a long time. So I really think this story reflects real life now.

People love to listen to beautiful words, but those words are usually not the truth. King Lear had no problem with his ears, but somehow he could not discern what were the flattered words from his first and second daughters and what were the true words from his little daughter. When King Lear lost everything, he realized the daughter who loved him most was his little daughter. But it was too late and his little daughter was killed for him.
